Introduction
I wanted to do another custom PS2 to match the NASA Inspired Casio. I used the 90001 model again because I like the hard edges. The other slim PS2s have rounded edges that make it harder to mask off and paint.
Final Design
The LEDs are again taken from an LED strip and the positive leads are wired to a switch. Then I wired everything to one of the USB ports. The green LED was achieved by wrapping some kapton tape around it. The blue light shining through the yellow tape appears green. I used some leftover stickers from the NASA EDC Kit, and I weathered the whole thing to help hide some of the painting imperfections. The console is also very old and already had scratches on it. So, the weathering makes it look more natural.
