The NASA Inspired Casio is a mod of the Casio AE1200WH (Casio Royale). I wore the F-91W for a long time, but I wanted something more unique with more features. I really didn’t want a smart watch either. So, this is what I came up with.
Inspirations
V2 Updates
V2 does not include an inverted bottom screen. This is due to the fact that it makes the small text (date, day of the week, am/pm, etc.) slightly harder to read. It’s also really difficult to get the polarizing filter off without damaging the watch face. Getting half the filter back on in the correct orientation while lining up the other half in a different orientation is also very difficult. However, this version does still have the upgraded blue LEDs despite the fact that they aren’t functionally necessary. I mainly did this to balance out the color pallet so that there isn’t too much orange.
