Porkula’s Mission
Porkula is trying to uncancel the future.
Understanding the Production Codes
Porkula created production codes to organize every project. Here is a guide to understanding them.
Film Edits [PPN_._]
TV Show Edits [_S__E__._]
These production codes are for feature length editing projects. They start with “PPN” (Porkula Production Number), then a number that represents when the first version of the project was released in relation to other feature length editing projects. This is followed by a number for whatever iteration of the project it is. For example, the production code for The Phantom Menace – Revised is “PPN1.1.”
The TV production codes are for all TV show editing projects. They start with an “S,” then the season number (Season 1 would be “01”), then “E,” then the episode number (Episode 1 would be “01”), then a “.,” then a number for whatever iteration of the project it is. This is followed by the name of the episode. For example, the production code for the extended edition of “Scaredy Pants” is “S01E26.1 – Scaredy Pants – Extended Edition.”
Film Restorations [PRN_._]
Miscellaneous Edits [PMPN_._]
The restoration codes are for projects that attempt to preserve the original vision of another persons project in high quality. They start with “PRN” (Porkula Restoration Number), then a number that represents when the first version of the project was released in relation to other film restoration projects. This is followed by a number for whatever iteration of the project it is. For example, the production code for the original Backstroke of the West – HD Remaster – Extended Edition is “PRN1.1.”
The miscellaneous production codes are for edit projects that don’t fall into any of the previous categories. They start with “PMPN” (Porkula Miscellaneous Production Number), then a number that represents when the first version of the project was released in relation to other miscellaneous productions. This is followed by a number for whatever iteration of the project it is. For example, the production code for Deliver Us – The Whole Pizza is “PMPN1.1.”
Gadgets [_MK._]
Mods [_PMV_]
These production codes are for projects that are completely unique creations. They are created by taking the first letter of each word in the full name of the gadget followed by “MK.” and then a number for whatever iteration of the project it is. For example, the production code for the first webshooter project is “RSMWSMK.1.” Sometimes a gadget will have a sub-gadget (a gadget that is designed to be used with a previous gadget). In this case, the production code would be the original gadgets production code, then a dash, then the sub-gadget’s production code. For example, the production code for the chemical web cartridge is “RSMWSMK.1-CWCMK.1.”
These production codes are for projects that are modified versions of a preexisting product. They are created by taking the original products SKU number followed by “PMV” (Porkula Mod Version) and then a number for whatever iteration of the project it is. For example, the production code for the ultimate PS Vita is “PCH-1100-PMV1.”
